Avinash Prabhu's Profile

Mr. Avinash Prabhu is the face of the Rs. 100 crore Skyline Group. 35 year-old Mr. Prabhu took over the reins of the Skyline Group in 1997 at the tender age of 24 and has since then, steered the Skyline Group into a Bangalore based conglomerate.

Instrumental in shaping the Skyline brand as one of the most popular home builders across Bangalore City, Mr. Prabhu is a B.Com from St. Josephs College of Commerce, Bangalore and an M.Com from Bangalore University.

Mr. Prabhu has initiated Skyline`s entry into Commercial and Retail development besides increasing the number of ongoing developments to 18 across Bangalore City and 1 in Mangalore City. He has also increased the number of developments under planning to 40 from the earlier maximum of 12 which are expected to be brought to the market over the coming months. Skyline's backward integration from stand alone projects to township development has also been conceived by him. At present two USD 1 Billion townships are in initial stages of development in Bangalore and Mangalore and are expected to come to market in 2010–11.

Mr. Prabhu has directed and initiated Skyline`s operations in Chennai, Mangalore, Cochin and Mysore. Under his guidance several projects have been completed like Skyline City Tower Block, Skyline Srusti, Skyline Amogha, Skyline Mayflower Hall, Skyline Chalet, Skyline Elysee and Skyline Manor.
